We are excited to announce the launch of the Bishop Dudley Center for Families. It will provide a lifeline to families in crisis, offering them the stability and dignity needed to rebuild their lives. The importance of a safe environment as a foundation for families to transition to permanent housing, secure employment, and reliable transportation, cannot be overstated.

The urgency of this campaign cannot be ignored. Currently, 1,400 Sioux Falls public school students are listed as homeless on their school registration. There are more than 770 families in our community who are currently without a home of their own. Since opening its doors in 2015, the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House has sheltered 460 families and 1,025 children.

We are rallying our community, reaching out to individuals, businesses, and organizations to join us in this critical moment. We are incredibly thankful that to date we have already received pledges of $1.5 million toward our goal. This campaign offers an opportunity for you to align with our values and make a profound impact through a multi-year commitment. Your financial support for the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House and Center for Families will be a beacon of hope, demonstrating a collective commitment to not just envisioning a brighter future, but actively creating it.

Please consider making a financial commitment to our “Open Doors, Open Arms” campaign to give families the hand-up they need to be successful and self-sufficient.

Gifts will be used where most needed at Bishop Dudley Hospitality House or Center for Families
